La Perouse Residence

Opening up the space.

This house located near Sydney's coast, needed a kitchen refresh and a second bathroom for this 3 bedroom house.

COLOUR PALETTE & MATERIALS

Filipino inspired home.

In our Sydney home, we’ve embraced a blend of modern design and warmth inspired by Filipino aesthetics. The kitchen features sleek, white cabinetry that creates a bright and airy atmosphere, reflecting the abundant natural light that fills the space.

The backsplash showcases a rich coffee-colored panel, adding depth and a touch of sophistication to the design. The honey timber floors provide a warm contrast, enhancing the inviting feel of the room.

Countertops made of engineered stone resembling Taj Mahal stone offer both elegance and practicality, creating a striking focal point. Gunmetal hardware complements the overall aesthetic, adding a contemporary edge while maintaining a connection to quality craftsmanship.

This kitchen not only serves as a functional space but also as a reflection of our heritage, combining modern elements with the warmth of home.

We transformed the original main bathroom into two separate spaces: a luxurious ensuite and a functional main bathroom. This redesign significantly increased the home's functionality, providing enhanced convenience for our family while ensuring that both spaces serve their unique purposes effectively.
