Labaria Residence
100 years of family history reimagined.
This project located in Ochagavia, a fairy tale-like town in northern Spain, reinvented this house to give its full potential for 4 generations to enjoy.Â
3 story house with an attic and a front yard overlooking mountains covered in pines and the center of the town - the emphasis was put on a cohesive interior and exterior.

COLOUR PALETTE & MATERIALS
Neutral colour palette
Natural stone and timber & layers of texture through fabrics
In this project, we wanted to create a soft palette that will adapt to all seasons. Travertine stone, brass, natural American oak furniture and Tasmanian oak timber floors. The textiles combine a mix of wool fabrics in darker colours and linen blends for a cooler look in the hotter months. Timber floorboards throughout to keep the warmth during the snow season and the chilly summer nights.
